You Don’t See Yourself Clearly
You’re dismissing what’s working… and it’s costing you
Some people don’t struggle because they’re not doing enough.
They struggle because they don’t register what they’ve already done.
Ask them what’s going well… and they hesitate.
Not because nothing is happening. Because it doesn’t qualify in their head.
The bar is set somewhere unrealistic. So anything short of that gets ignored.
I’ve seen people handling real pressure, work, family, responsibility, and still feel like they’re falling behind.
Not because they are.
Because their perception is off.
That has consequences.
If you don’t see progress… you don’t build confidence.
If you don’t build confidence… you don’t show up the same way.
So now it looks like a performance issue… but it’s actually a recognition issue.
You don’t need to inflate anything.
But you do need to be accurate.
Because if your brain keeps dismissing what’s working… you eventually stop doing it.
What are you doing right now that actually counts… but you’ve decided doesn’t?
