I don’t want anyone to be like me.
That’s never been the goal.
The goal is permission.
Permission to stop contorting yourself into something palatable.
Permission to stop borrowing someone else’s voice.
Permission to stop confusing agreement with belonging.
If everybody likes you, no one actually knows you.
Reality requires edges.
Truth requires stands.
Identity requires friction.
There are people reading this who feel like outsiders.
Different beliefs. Different wiring. Different questions.
So was I.
I lost myself once trying to conform.
It almost worked.
It almost killed something important.
You can belong and be yourself.
But you can’t belong everywhere.
And that’s okay.
So let me ask you the only question that actually matters:
When you look in the mirror
do you respect the person staring back?
If the answer is yes, you’re already further ahead than you think.
