One of the most dangerous beliefs in modern work is that validation should arrive early.
It usually doesnât.
And when it does, it often shows up after you no longer need it.
Likes, views, applause, traction
theyâre lagging indicators.
Not proof of value.
If you need the outside world to reassure you in the early stages, youâll burn out fast.
Not because the work is wrong
but because you gave control of your nervous system to something you canât control.
The work has to be internally anchored first.
You do it because it matters to you.
Because youâre learning.
Because youâre becoming someone through it.
If the validation comes, great.
If it doesnât yet, youâre still on path.
By the time it shows up, it wonât be the thing holding you together anyway.
