Living on Your Own Terms

At some point, everyone has to decide:

Do I want a life that looks good
Or a life I can stand behind?

Self-authorship isn’t about rebellion.
It’s about responsibility.

It means choosing your direction even when the path isn’t validated yet.

It means letting go of the illusion that someone else knows better.

Your values become your true north.
Your intentions matter more than your tactics.
Your methods evolve but your integrity doesn’t.

You won’t always be right.
You’ll have to admit mistakes.
You’ll disappoint people.

That’s the price of living deliberately.

Questions to close with:

What kind of life are you authoring right now?

If nothing changed, would you be proud of it in ten years?

What decision are you postponing

because it might upset someone else?

You don’t need permission to live honestly.
You just need the courage to accept the consequences.

And if you can do that
You won’t need applause.
