Most people don’t fail because they’re lazy. They fail because they never clarified what
wins
when priorities collide.
If money always wins, family loses.
If approval always wins, self-respect loses.
If growth always wins, stability loses.
Values aren’t what you say you care about. They’re what you protect when there’s a tradeoff.
And if you don’t consciously define that hierarchy, life will choose for you, usually in ways you regret later.
