Most people are not limited by their ability.
They are limited by the story they tell themselves about who they are.
I talk to people all the time whose talents and capacities are far greater than how they see themselves.
They look in the mirror and see someone incapable, unfinished, or unqualified
when in reality, they are starving while sitting on top of immense potential.
Have you ever noticed that?
That gap between what you feel capable of
and what your actions actually demonstrate?
And here’s the uncomfortable truth:
If you let other people define who you are long enough,
you will eventually believe them.
So let me ask you something honestly:
Who taught you how to see yourself?
And why did you decide they were right?
We live in a world full of noise, opinions, fear, outrage, certainty about things no one can actually control.
And the more attention you give to things you cannot influence,
the less energy you have for the things you can.
Your choices.
Your character.
Your integrity.
Your direction.
There are more than enough injustices, problems, and challenges in your own life where your effort would actually matter.
So here’s the real question:
What are you avoiding taking responsibility for by focusing on things you can’t change?
You don’t need more information.
You don’t need permission.
You need the courage to stop shrinking yourself to stay safe.
And the moment you do that
everything begins to change.
