Clarity has become a fetish.
People chase it like it’s a prerequisite for movement
as if life hands out guarantees before asking for commitment.
But clarity is not the cause of action.
It’s the result of it.
Every meaningful decision feels unclear before it’s made.
That’s not a flaw. That’s reality.
When someone says, “I just need more clarity,”
what they usually mean is,
“I don’t want to live with the consequences yet.”
Clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder.
It comes from seeing yourself act and realizing you didn’t break.
If you wait for certainty, you’ll only ever choose what keeps you small enough to feel safe.
Because clarity follows courage, not the other way around.
